Terry Dean
Congratulations to Terry for getting his own guitar shop up and running so successfully. Terry Dean's Guitars is at 5 Keilor Road Essendon and at www.terrydeansguitars.com.au. He has one of the best selections of new, used and vintage instuments that I've seen, but he would have wouldn't he. He loves em and he knows so much about em I'm sure it's unhealthy. Great for me (Gary) - hey he found nearly all of my beauties. I get the pleasure of setting up and repairing many of the instruments that arrive daily at his door. Between us, with that amount of guitar knowledge and experience, every instument ends up being as good as it can be, right across the price range. CHECK IT OUT.

Fridays at The Town Hall Hotel Richmond
Very pleased to be playing every Friday night at the Town Hall Hotel in Bridge Road Richmond from the 1st of Feb. We won't be there this coming Friday, Good Friday.

New Years Eve at The New Capers in Hawthorn
If you haven't thought about New Years Eve yet then you'd better get into party mode and join us at The New Capers in Hawthorn with Mick Pealing. Our last show there on November 24 was a record-breaking sellout for the venue, and we're looking forward to making new years a bit less of a concert and a lot more of a party. Also very happy to play one more show before the end of the year at The Town Hall Hotel (Spargos) in Richmond on Friday the 21st of December. After a break in January we'll head off once again to Tamworth where we'll join our old pals The Flood for a series of shows at The Family Hotel from the 23rd to the 27th of Jan. By the way, if you don't mind a bit of extraordinary electric and acoustic guitar playing based around the songs of Pink Floyd, Led Zep, Beatles, Neil Young and such, then you really should get to the Stags Head Hotel in Williamstown on Sundays from 8pm. Gary and Jamie Jardine have been doing this kind of material in this hot little venue for some time as "Bender" - anyone who's seen Jamie laying into a bit of Hendrix knows what I'm talking about, woah. Jamie is currently on tour with Bjorn Again so Gary will be joined by the amazing legendary Brett Garsed on electric guitar until the end of the year. Brett has played with John Farnham, Paul Stanley, Dweezil Zappa - I'm only getting started here! That is all - see you soon.

Two more special shows coming up
Dean and Carruthers will be playing with Mick Pealing again at The New Capers in Hawthorn on Nov 24 instead of Oct 6. This is a rare opportunity to see this combo at their best in a small concert atmosphere. When we played there back in June it was a sellout and Capers considered the show one of their best - they've already booked us for new years eve as well! The D&C show at The Town Hall Hotel (Spargo's) was fantastic and it was great to see so many familiar faces from our old Richmond haunts. This is just the sort of venue we've been hoping to find for some time and we're looking forward to returning on Nov 30 and Dec 21.

Two special shows coming up
After a successful stint at the Tamworth Hotel in January, Terry and Gary team up once again with Mick Pealing for a special performance at The New Capers in Hawthorn on June 10. This show is a rare opportunity to hear great songs in a small concert environment, and to see for yourself why this combo were so well received in Tamworth. Also happy to be back at A D Ryans for another legendary Dean and Carruthers party night on Thursday June 21st at 8.30pm.
